About Us DinnerUP® is the invention of Ray Dinham, a CAD Design Engineer, who also happens to be disabled in both legs since birth. Because of his disability, Ray has always been aware of the problems that limited mobility imposes, whether it is in moving around himself, moving other things around or just doing the things that normal people do automatically; like bending down to feed their pets.
I had to feed my two pet cats previously by getting onto my knees and passing the food bowls down onto the floor. With increasing age and stiffness this was becoming very difficult. OK my partner would always do the job when she was in but that wasn’t the point, I wanted to still be able to do it myself. Independence means a huge amount to most people and not any less to me. So now “I don’t have to bend to feed my friend™ anymore” says Ray. This device does everything I need it to do, even with a hungry cat or two trying to climb up it. Just do things slowly and deliberately, they get their breakfast and the water stays un-spilt in their bowl. My legs and arms don’t take a hammering trying to get up and down from the floor, or is it Down and UP? Ray says “I couldn’t contemplate going back to reaching down to the floor. DinnerUP® is so good and our customers are going to find the same.” |
